This refurbished OEM ignition switch fits all Honda Accord from 2003 to 2007 with an automatic transmission (except hybrid) comes with remote transponder keys.
The keys have a chip inside of them that works with the anti theft immobilizer system. The chip in the key must be programmed to the engine computer in order to start the car. To use these chip keys you can have a locksmith or mechanic add these keys to your car using a OBD2 scan tool that supports key programming OR can insert chips from the old keys into these new ones. The chip reader that is mounted to his ignition switch must also be programmed to the car OR you can reuse your car's previous chip reader to avoid the need for programming.
